Cardio is not my favorite type of exercise. In fact, I try to avoid it at all costs. I've never been the girl who runs, nor the SoulCycle girl nor the elliptical girl. I do not see how doing something so repetitive for a long time can be motivating and interesting enough to keep doing it the moment you start to feel tired. Which brings me to the reason why I signed up for the trampoline gym class.

I have been looking for a cardiovascular exercise that could a) burn the important calories, b) make me feel good and c) would be fun enough to come back. The trampoline training has left my muscles sore and my mind defeated (what can I say? I am a bad loser), but it certainly met my three criteria for cardiovascular exercise and trampoline gym.

I realized that mastering the art of the trampoline gym was one of those things that was made easier with practice.

One way or another, Gigi and I went all the way without being taken to the hospital. Gigi was not really happy.

For my part, I tried to see the positive side, because I am an optimist and everything.
What is the moral of this bouncing story? If you want to experience an imminent death experience, sign up for a trampoline gym class. I laugh. Well, not really is trampoline gym.

But if you want to find a workout that keeps you physically and mentally healthy all the time, I beg you to leave it alone. It is an excellent exercise that combines cardiovascular and compound exercises, of whole body, to tone and sculpt. Just bring a towel, okay?
